After an extensive medical appointment at one of the nation’s leading facilities, the doc mentioned he used this product daily to revitalize his skin’s overall tone that also bruised as significantly as mine. So, I’m not saying that my remarks have the science of a bonafide research study, but, hey, I adore the scent and it feels comforting on limbs prone to looking bruised and battered, so if someone I respect thinks this product’s use is recommendable, I will keep on enjoying it.

Yes. I’m a dude. I love this stuff. I swim/bike/run/hockey/work outside year-round. This is the only, yes only, cream that effectively cures dry hands, ankles, knees, face, neck, shoulders, nether-regions. It works all day. It’s crazy. Other products with alcohol, etc, stop working in 15 minutes. I’ve bee using it for 2+ years. After my last jar ran out a month ago while on the road, my skin didn’t go thru withdrawl and go bad, it was just happy to have it back. And the GF likes the soft, clean smell. It makes me feel luxurious. There. I said it.

As someone that lives in a dry climate and HATES the greasy feeling most moisturizers leave, I love this moisturizer because it doesn’t! If you have a greasy feeling left, it’s probably due to using to much (a little goes a LONG WAY) or it wasn’t rubbed in enough. You skin shouldn’t have a glossy/wet look to it after using (a sign if one of the reasons stated earlier). You should have a semi-gloss look to it at most. I often end up with the tops of my hands looking wet, so I just rub the tops of my hands over areas I don’t normally moisturize and that usually is enough to soak up the “Extra” on my hands that’s leftover. Remember, A Little goes a Long Way, so start with very small amounts until you get used to how much your skin will absorb. I’ve been using it for over 20 years and my Mom (she told me about it) used it before I started and at 84 years old, she had just a couple of wrinkles on her face, hands and arms, so it’s got a long history of success in my family, therefore it’s a DEFINITELY BUY IMHO!!

Every year I have super dry hands that crack and bleed. Normally I buy the drug store lotions like Aveeno or Gold bond but they could never keep my hands from cracking. My daughter purchased this from a Sephora for me last Christmas and I repurchased this product a year later through amazon. I’m normally not the type to spend that kind of money on something like lotion but my experience with the lotion has been overly positive and will continue to repurchase!

For me, this jar and its contents are worth every penny. You won’t need to use a lot when applying: I use it mostly on the back of my hands, and a couple of other places that *always* get dry, particularly during wintertime.Being in a tub, as opposed to a pump bottle, you have more control in the amount you use each time: its thick yet light, not greasy or runny, and maintains its consistency over time, never separating.I use it once or twice a day, mostly at home: once before I leave for work, once later at night after showering. It feels slightly cool and definitely soothing while going on.One jar lasts me about 6 months, or more: for less than the price of a single iced mocha and pastry at you know where, I get a month’s worth of fabulocity thanks to L’Occitane. In these terms, this is an affordable, quick way to be good to myself. 😉

Some have reported this product purchased on Amazon being a knock off. But I give it 5 stars as I found my recent purchase to be thick and moisturizing. This new can is thicker than the one I purchased at L’Occatine. Having dry skin I have used many products and I find this to be one of my go-to moisturizers.

I received this as a gift but I am going to be a customer from here out. This stuff is not cheap but it is worth every penny. I think it’s especially great if you live in a dry climate or over a cold winter. I don’t think I will be using this in the summer but I will be using it every winter from now on. It is THICK but it spreads well. I use about 2 Tablespoons for my whole body after showering. I used half the jar in one month. That’s five dollars a week for silky smooth skin. I’m a fan and future customer.

Launched by the design house of Guerlain way back in 1925, Shalimar is classified as a refined, oriental fragrance that serves as one of the great icons of early 20th-century perfumery. It’s a feminine scent possessing a blend of balsamic and citrus accords, and it’s recommended particularly for evening wear. The citrus notes appear in the top notes, specifically mandarin, bergamot, and lemon, as well as a cedar note.
