Esprit Du Roi men’s fragrance is created with a masterful mixture of cedrat, mint, mandarin and bergamot notes that perfectly balances its crisp, citrus accord. This 2011 release from Penhaligon’s is perfect for wearing on your first date with that special someone or to your dream job interview. Just a small dab of this earthy, citrusy scent is all you need to make a stellar first impression and to leave a luscious, lingering essence in any room that you enter.

I love the flavor of this salt. It’s very bright and delicious and clean. The container could be improved upon.

This is a beautiful salt, if you’re into that sort of thing. Light taste. Great finisher.

I babysit for a lovely French Canadian family, who are world travelers, and who have this salt in their house. When I first tasted it, I couldn’t believe how flavorful and savory it was. I usually flavor my food with pink Himalayan sea salt, and this salt is so much better. Best salt I have ever tasted, bar none. I encourage anyone to try this at least once. I know it’s costly, which is a set back, so I use it for special occasions when I want to make a nice dish for my family, friends, or just me.

Great sea salt for cooking or using as topping on homemade breads (bagels, bialys, soft pretzels & French breads or baguettes). Also great On homemade potato chips. Great customer service. When my original order arrived damaged & unuseable, My Panier quickly replaced it. Will continue to order from them in the future

I always thought salt was salt, and even when I first tasted this fleur de Sel, I thought, “yeah. It tastes like salt.” Then, I tried it again. Whew! Is it good! It’s smooth and clean. Plus, a little goes a long way. It doesn’t have that sharp bite that you get with table salt. Family and friends have now suggested I try other salts, but I have no desire because this tastes perfect to me. I use it in cooking, for finishing, and for sprinkling on vegetables and popcorn. It functions well in all cases.

You wouldn’t think, after having all kinds of sea salts that this would be any better or different, but it is. It’s very interesting in that it tastes quite different than other salts. Very hard to describe, but my sister said “after tasting this, nearly every other salt tastes..chemical, or manufactured somehow, metallic, whereas this tastes natural.”

This salt has a delicate taste compared to other salts. There’s no sharp aftertaste. A little goes a long way. I love when anything is produced using old methods. There’s a link with history and the lives of those gone before us as the present workers harvest this salt.

Great salt for anyone who likes a taste of the exotic…I was a bit skeptical of salt tasting differently, so I was very surprised to find it actaully doies have a distinctive taste…I have several different salts, mainly for the different grain size and other uses like Kosher for my sourdough read, iodized for normal cooking, etc…this one was bought just for eating. That was the cachet that I read about it in a food artcile…so I sprang for it. It does have that quality of a sea salt, that extra mineralization that comes from the source…but this has “taste” also…what taste? Got me, but it is distinct…we sprinkle it over a buttered bagel, a few specks on a piece of prosciutto & cream cheese, or just a dip of a wetted finger…its great for those small things like that. Not for cooking, just for tasting is my preference. Enjoy!
